Just as we get used to our daily routines, our bodies get used to the routine of what we have been putting in it for years and years. And it is probably 50% bad fattening foods.
Instead of jumping in with both feet first, you should consult with your doctor to find out if this type of food regimen in healthy for you first. Your physician may tell you that it is okay but your body still needs a certain type of nutrient or substance that a raw food only diet can not provide you.
Once you square things with the doc, go on the diet gradually. Your body may revolt if you try to make the change too quickly. There is something called the shock factor and your body is going to go through a lot of changes when you change your diet. It is like quitting smoking and your body is craving the nicotine.

Cravings can also be a part of the transition. When you are used to eating sugars your body is going to wonder what happened when it is missing. This can cause some temporary issues but again will not last for long.

There is a lot of information out there on the raw food diet so it is recommended that you check it out before just assuming that you know what you are doing.
After you learn all that you can on this type of lifestyle, you will be able to slice and dice your way to a healthy new you. It may not seem like a good idea at first, like getting outside and jogging that first mile, but in the long run, your body and mind are going to thank you for the change.
